Lead the Preservation of Pembroke’s Historic Town Walls
The Role
As Chair of Trustees, you will provide strategic leadership, ensure effective governance, and represent the Trust to stakeholders. This is a voluntary role but offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on Pembroke’s heritage.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Lead and inspire the Board of Trustees to achieve PTWT’s mission.
✅ Oversee governance, ensuring compliance with legal and charitable responsibilities.
✅ Advocate for PTWT, building relationships with funders, partners, and the community.
✅ Support fundraising efforts to secure grants and sponsorships.
✅ Guide strategic planning for conservation, education, and engagement projects.
Who We’re Looking For
We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds. If you have:
✔ A passion for heritage conservation and community engagement.
✔ Leadership or governance experience (charity or corporate).
✔ Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
✔ Knowledge of fundraising or financial management (desirable, not essential).
✔ The ability to inspire and engage volunteers, stakeholders, and the public.
